SARAJEVO, Jan 5 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs refused to attend a
meeting of a joint commission for Sarajevo this afternoon saying
that the Bosnian army had failed to completely withdraw its
troops from Mount Igman, UN spokesman in Sarajevo Alexander
Ivanko said.
Under an earlier agreement, the Moslem-led government army
should have withdrawn from the Mount Igman demilitarized zone by
noon Wednesday. But UN observers said the withdrawal had not yet
been completed.
Ivanko confirmed the Bosnian army pullout was under way and
would be completed by Friday morning.
The joint commission of Bosnian government, Serb and UN
representatives was to reconvene in Sarajevo Friday at noon.
