MOSTAR, Dec 27 (Hina) - The first issue of a Bosnian Croat
independent political weekly, "Horizont", was presented in Mostar
on Friday.
Its editor in chief, Mario Marusic, said that the weekly was
primarily conceived as a mouthpiece of Bosnian Croats, but that it
would also be open to other communities in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Its aim was to "improve the media image of Croats in Bosnia-
Herzegovina," Marusic stressed.
He said that "Horizont" had already appeared in central and
northern Bosnia, Sarajevo, Zenica, Split, Zagreb and that it was
expected to appear in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar.
The weekly was established and published by the private
publishing company "Markiz" of Mostar.
