MOSTAR, Dec 19 (Hina) - Because of more frequent attacks on Croats
in Mostar, the Mostar Mayor Ivan Prskalo expressed concern about
the conduct, statements and actions of the Moslem side in the town,
especially with the Moslem leadership which increasingly offered
war as an option for the future. #L#
In his statement, Prskalo warned about the conduct of Deputy
Mayor Safet Orucevic in the magazine "Free Herzegovina" in which he
said "They are worse than Serbs," "Croats have been our enemies the
whole time," and "A Bosnian military operation 'Storm' follows two
years after Dayton".
Orucevic's words were a green light for war activities of
extremists in the Moslem population, Prskalo said, recalling
shootings, stoning of civilians and children in a bus.
