BRITAIN AND BOSNIA SIGN AGREEMENT ON ECONOMIC COOPERATION

LONDON, Dec 9 (Hina) - British Vice Premier, Michael Haseltine, and Foreign Minister of the Federation of the Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jadranko Prlic, signed an agreement on economic cooperation between the United Kingdom and Bosnia-Herzegovina in London last Thursday, the British Foreign Office stated on Monday. The agreement, representing an important step in bilateral relations, would promote economic links between the two countries, a statement said. The British side is intending to increase the presence of British industry in Bosnia-Herzegovina and ensure better opportunities of British companies in winning contracts in public tendering for post-war reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina, according to the statement.
