SARAJEVO, Nov 30 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Presidency members,
Moslem Alija Izetbegovic, Croat Kresimir Zubak and Serb Momcilo
Krajisnik, on Saturday reached agreement on structure and
establishment of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Council of Ministers.
Following five-hour-long talks in the National Museum
building, they officially accepted a proposal by Michael Steiner, a
deputy to the international high representative to Bosnia.
The Council of Ministers would include two chairmen and one
vice-chairman, Steiner told reporters after the session.
There would be also three ministers, each of them covering two
fields. Every minister would have two deputies of other two
nationalities.
It has been agreed that two chairmen should be a Moslem
(Bosniak) and a Serb for the time being, while the vice-chairman
should be a Croat. A Croat representative will also assume office
of Bosnia-Herzegovina's foreign minister.
At Saturday's session the three-person Presidency accepted
officially the extension of the mandate of international troops in
Bosnia, and thus positively responded to a demand made by the NATO
Secretary-General Javier Solana.
