SEVEN SENIOR HDZ OFFICIALS SUSPENDED, 26 RELIEVED OF DUTIES

ZAGREB, Nov 7 (Hina) - The presidency of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) discussed at a session on October 26 the tasks of all bodies and members of the party in investigating and preventing malpractices in the process of privatization, the office of the HDZ secretary general said in a statement on Thursday. The presidency decided to suspend seven officials from the central bodies of the HDZ and relieved 26 officials of their party duties until the completion of disciplinary procedure, the statement said.
