SARAJEVO, Nov 1 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-member
Presidency held a session on Friday in the National Museum in
Sarajevo, with maximum security measures. The Presidency's members
Alija Izetbegovic, Kresimir Zubak and Momcilo Krajisnik continued
discussion on the establishment of the joint bodies of authority.
After the over three-hour-long session, a statement was issued
saying that special attention was paid to the matter of
establishing a ministerial council.
After being informed by a special working group on forming the
council, and the Presidency gave guidelines for further work.
Voicing support to groups that were tackling the issue of the
return of refugees and the destiny of missing persons, the
Presidency said efforts should be intensified aimed at casting more
light on the destiny of missing people.
It condemned recent destruction of houses of returning
refugees in the Serb republic and the Croat-Moslem Federation,
demanding from responsible authorities to prevent such incidents.
The Presidency received a report by Bosnia's Foreign Minister
Jadranko Prlic on employment of officials in vacancies within the
Foreign Ministry and diplomatic missions. It will consider this
issue and preparations for Paris and London conferences at next
session.
The Presidency would ask the office of the international peace
administrator Bildt to propose measures for setting
telecommunications connections between the joint bodies of
authorities, the statement said.
