SARAJEVO, Oct 29 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-member
Presidency issued a joint statement following Tuesday's meeting in
Sarajevo. According to the statement, they (Alija Izetbegovic,
Kresimir Zubak and Momcilo Krajisnik) established a working group
whose task is to draft a proposal on the work of Bosnia's
ministerial council.
They agreed on appointing at the next meeting a working group
that would draft a budget for 1997.
The Presidency welcomed the appointment of a Frenchman, Serge
Robert, as the governor of Bosnia's Central Bank, and appointed
members of the Bank's managing board.
The statement said a working group, headed by Foreign Minister
Jadranko Prlic, would propose the basis for harmonized attitudes of
Bosnia's delegation at Paris and London conferences on the peace
accords' implementation, due to be in November and December.
The Presidency confirmed that all public figures, elected at
the September election had full immunity, and pointed to the
responsibility of the Croat-Moslem Federation and the Serb republic
for security and safety of elected officials.
The Presidency members agreed that their sessions would be
convened every Tuesday and Friday until November 14 and that every
third session should be held at Lukavica (a village in the Serb
entity, outside Sarajevo).
