SARAJEVO, Dec 22 (Hina) - US President Bill Clinton arrived in
Sarajevo shortly after 8.00 hours on Monday for a day-long visit to
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Clinton was accompanied by his wife Hillary and daughter Chelsea,
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and other officials,
including Senator Robert Dole.
They were met at Sarajevo airport by senior Bosnian officials
headed by Presidency members Alija Izetbegovic, Kresimir Zubak and
Momcilo Krajisnik.
The US president and the Bosnian Presidency members are expected to
hold official talks later in the day.
Clinton is scheduled to deliver a speech in the National Theatre in
Sarajevo. At 14.00 hours he is expected to travel to the
northeastern town of Tuzla to meet US troops serving in the NATO-led
peace Stabilisation Force (SFOR) ahead of Christmas holidays.
