ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION ON TOLERANCE HELD IN MOSTAR

( Editorial: --> 9208 ) MOSTAR, Dec 17 (Hina) - Public figures and intellectuals from western and eastern parts of Mostar on Wednesday held a round table discussion under the organisation of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The discussion focused on tolerance in Mostar and Bosnia- Herzegovina in general. It was stressed that the situation in Mostar had improved in the past several months, but also that it was necessary to develop the dialogue in the town. Forgiveness was a precondition for the improvement of tolerance, participants in the discussion said. The discussion was organised as part of OSCE's human rights and democratic values campaign which started in Bosnia-Herzegovina two days ago. (hina) rm .. 172250 MET dec 97
