ZAGREB, Nov 14 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Friday
received credentials of the Egyptian Ambassador to Croatia,
Mostafa El-Feki.
It is an honour to represent the Republic of Egypt in Croatia with
which we were connected through many years of friendship, the
Egyptian Ambassador said, stressing that he would do everything to
promote as close relations between Croatia and Egypt as possible.
Tudjman stressed that Croatia wanted to develop as many-sided
relations with Egypt as possible.
"You come from a country of ancient history and culture into
Croatia, whose people is one of the oldest in Europe," Tudjman said,
adding that in his ambassadorial duty in Croatia, El-Feki would
enjoy the full support of the Croatian public, government and
president.
