ZAGREB, 19 Nov (Hina) - Turkish President Suleyman Demirel on
Wednesday thanked the Zagreb University Chancellor Marijan Sunjic
and the University Senate for an honorary doctorate he received
during his visit to Croatia last month.
Demirel also thanked the Croatian University Foundation for the
edition of Croatian translations of some of his works and
statements.
Demirel expressed hope that the relations between Zagreb
University and Ankara University would continue to be successful
after the signing of a protocol.
