ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Friday
received Mijo Brajkovic, head of the government of the Hercegovina-
Neretva canton and director-general of the aluminium factory
"Aluminij" of Mostar, the President's Office said in a statement.
Brajkovic informed the President about the situation in the
Hercegovina-Neretva canton, particularly in the city of Mostar
following a car bomb explosion, which was described as an act of
terrorism, which left several dozen people injured.
During the talks on the economic development of the canton,
emphasis was laid on the need for establishing closer ties between
companies in Croatia and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In
that context, the successful cooperation of "Aluminij" and the TLM
factory of Sibenik was cited as a positive example, the statement
concluded.
