ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Gojko Susak,
currently recovering in a Zagreb hospital after undergoing
surgery in the United States, held talks with Bosnian Croat
officials on Sunday, Croatian television said in its prime-time
news programme.
The talks involved Bosnian Presidency member Kresimir
Zubak, leader of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party of
Bosnia-Herzegovina Bozo Rajic, Bosnian Federation President
Vladimir Soljic and Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic.
Soljic was quoted as saying that they discussed the
implementation of the Dayton peace agreement and "the latest
terrorist act in Mostar."
He said that they condemned "this crime and the most
serious act of terrorism directed against the implementation of
he Dayton agreement."
Soljic said that they expressed regrets over statements by
some senior Bosnian Moslem officials which could lead to a
conclusion that the car bomb attack in Croat-controlled west
Mostar had been carried out by Croats.
"I appeal to those responsible not to manipulate people
before the investigation is over and to calm their passions,"
Soljic said.
