SARAJEVO, Aug 5 (Hina) - New sanctions to parties in Bosnia-
Herzegovina will for the time being not be imposed, even though a
new deadline for the passing of laws on citizenship and passports
expired yesterday.
Spokesman for the office of international high representative
for the implementation of the peace accord in BH, Simon Haselock, on
Tuesday told reporters in Sarajevo he was satisfied that all members
of the Bosnian Council of Ministers had decided to continue
discussions until a solution to the laws' disputed provisions was
found.
There were indications, Haselock said, that a final solution
to the appointment of BH ambassadors in the world could also be
reached by the end of this week, most probably at a Tuesday session
of the BH Presidency.
U.S. mediator Richard Holbrooke is expected to attend the
session.
