SARAJEVO, July 11 (Hina) - Kresimir Zubak, a member of the Presidency of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Friday received the charge d'affaires of the U.S.
Embassy in Sarajevo, Robert Beecroft, Zubak's office said in a
statement.
Zubak and Beecroft's talks focused on the necessity to reach an
agreement on the establishment of a joint police in the Central Bosnian
Canton next week, based on principles on which an agreement to establish
a joint police in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton had been reached and
signed earlier.
Today, Zubak also met with UN Secretary General's special envoy Kae
Eide, and with the head of the UN mission in BH's Mine-Clearing Centre,
George Focsaneau.
The talks focused on problems related to the clearing of mines
throughout BH, with special stress on the structure of a mine-clearing
project and possibilities of its improvement.
