APPOINTMENTS AND RELIEF OF DUTIES IN CROATIAN ARMY

ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - The Croatian Defence Ministry's Political + Administration department issued a statement on Tuesday saying that the Croatian President and Supreme Commander of the Croatian Armed Forces, Franjo Tudjman, had reached the following decisions: 1. To relieve of duties and retire the director of the Military Museum, General Ante Zorislav Roso, 2. to relieve of duties and retire the commander of the Djakovo army district, + Lt. Gen. Djuro Decak, 3. to relieve of duties and retire the commander of the Varazdin army + district, Maj. Gen. Ivan Korade, 4. to relieve of duties the commander of the Pazin army district, Maj. Gen. Krsticevic, for training purposes, 5. to relieve of duties the commander of the 5th brigade, Maj. Gen. Ivan Kapular, to be appointed head of the Defence Ministry Reorganisation Office. 6. to relieve of duties the commander of the 1st brigade, Maj. Gen. Jozo Milicevic, to be appointed commander of the Pazin army district, 7. to relieve of duties the deputy commander of the II army district, Maj. + Gen. Slavko Baric, to be appointed advisor at the Defence Ministry for cooperation + with civilian authorities in mine removal in Croatia, 8. to relieve of duties commander of the 2nd brigade Staff Brigadier Renato Romic to be appointed commander of the Varazdin army district. 9. to appoint Staff Brigadier Dragan Bagaric as commander of the Djakovo army district, 10. to relieve of duties deputy commander of the Varazdin army district Staff Brigadier Zvonko Peternel, to be appointed deputy commander of the Djakovo army district, 11. to appoint Colonel Bozo Kozul commander of the 1st brigade, 12. to appoint Colonel Josip Stojkovic commander of the 2nd brigade, 13. to appoint Colonel Ivan Obrovac commander of the 5th brigade.
