ZAGREB, June 16 (Hina) - The second session of the Croatian Parliament
House of Counties is convened for Monday.
The upper house is expected to decide on appointment of its
secretary and to consider three bills on verification of international
treaties.
Deputies will consider a bill on verifying a treaty between Croatia
and Italy on minorities' rights.
They will also consider a final bill on education in languages of
ethnic and national communities and minorities which is in the third
reading, as well as five bills which are in the first reading and a
report on the situation and reconstructing of the Croatian Railways.
A discussion on a programme for carrying out the national
strategy in drug abuse prevention this year is on the agenda as well.
The session commences at 15 hours today when Government
members are expected to answer questions of deputies.
