OPATIJA, June 12 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament House of Counties
President, Katica Ivanisevic, on Thursday opened the 4th international
symposium on manufacturing machine engineering called "CIM 97", in the
Croatian resort of Opatija.
This year's gathering, being held under the slogan "to enter 21st
with high-speed machining", has been organised by the Zagreb-based
Croatian association of manufacturing machine engineering and the
Darmstat-based PTW Institute.
The "CIM 97" is the central symposium in Croatia and the
neighbouring part of Europe, dedicated to the examination of all
elements of production.
The symposium that gathered more than 100 scientists and experts
from Croatia and several other European countries, will end on Friday,
June 13.
