SARAJEVO, Mar 11 (Hina) - Spokesman for Carl Bildt's Office in
Bosnia-Herzegovina (BH), Column Murphy, on Tuesday warned that the
passing of key acts which would regulate the functioning of the
state of BH in the field of economic relations could no longer be
delayed.
It was of the utmost importance to make a quick progress in
discussing the drafts of a dozen acts concerning economy, Murphy
told reporters in Sarajevo, adding that each new postponement would
have negative consequences on the holding of a planned donors'
conference for assisting BH.
These issues had a priority, Murphy said and pointed out that
the arrival of international financial support for BH would depend
on the readiness of the sides for cooperation in this field.
According to Murphy, the donor-countries were firm in their
stand that financial aid for BH would be conditioned by the
compliance with the regulations of the peace accord. Money would in
the future arrive to those who fulfilled all of their obligations,
while others would continue to receive only humanitarian aid,
Murphy pointed out.
