PLOCE, Feb 24 (Hina) - U.S. merchant ship "Iowa Trade" on Monday docked at
the south Croatian port of Ploce where, in the organization of the
"Adriatic-Agent" International Shipping Agency, the ship brought 30.000 tons
of wheat, a donation of UN's specialized humanitarian association, World
Food Programme, for the war-ravaged population of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
According to the World Food Programme's office in Ploce, more than
400.000 tons of food had been brought to Bosnia through Ploce since the
office opened in February 1993, and the latest was one of the largest
shipments since the beginning of the war in BH.
