DINERS CREDIT CARDS TO BE ISSUED IN SARAJEVO SOON

Autor: ;JN;
SARAJEVO, Feb 25 (Hina) - Representatives of Zagreb-based the Diners Club Adriatic company and Sarajevo-based Privredna Banka on Tuesday signed an agreement on partnership under which the 'Privredna Banka' will start issuing Diners credit cards to citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Diners Club Adriatic managing board chairman, Zarko Kraljevic, and the Bank's director, Mevsudin Drekovic, signed the deal at a ceremony which Haris Silajdzic, a co-chairman of Bosnia's Council of Ministers, attended. Owners of credit cards issued abroad, will be able to take money in cash in Sarajevo, whereas Bosnian citizens will have to await verification of Tuesday's agreement. People who would like to have credit cards, will have to deposit 5,000 German marks for private and 10,000 marks for business cards. The Privredna Banka director Drekovic said deposits would be treated as savings deposits and they could cover bills. Kraljevic recalled that the Diners Club had already signed agreements on the issuing of credit cards with the Mostar-based Hrvatska Banka and with the Croatian Postal Bank.
