RIJEKA, Feb 20 (Hina) - Croatian passenger shipping company
Jadrolinija from Rijeka and Austrian Creditanstalt-Bankverein
bank from Vienna on Thursday signed an agreement on a 25
million German mark credit for the expansion of Jadrolinija's
fleet.
With this credit Jadrolinija will pay part of its debt
for a newly purchased ship, the Dubrovnik, as well as the
completion of three ferries, which are being built in two
Croatian shipyards.
The Croatian government agreed on the credit, which will
be repaid within seven years, with a one-year grace period and
a yearly interest rate of 4.6 percent.
The agreement was signed by Jadrolinija's managing
director Milivoj Ruzic and the manager of the Vienna Bank's
Credit Department, Juergen Kullnigg.
