SARAJEVO, Feb 28 (Hina) - According to reports that reached
Bosnian peace coordinator Carl Bildt's office, 19 persons in
relation to whom there existed evidence of connection with
organized crime in the Mostar area had been arrested until
today, Bildt's spokesman Column Murphy said in Sarajevo on
Friday, adding that such actions might lead to a solution to
the political crisis in the Mostar area.
In answer to the question why a large number of persons
had been arrested in the Mostar area at this moment, in
particular persons whose names had not appeared in the report
by the International Police Task Force, Murphy said that the
events of 10 February had speeded up an action which had been
insisted upon for a long time.
