The donation was financed by the Hungarian government.
The donation worth 70,000 kuna (US $12,700) was received by
Magdalena Curman on behalf of the Hungarian minority.
Hungary is interested in returning the Croatian Danubian area
under Croatian administration as well as in the completion of the
peaceful reintegration by mid July, Ambassador Szalay said.
It is also important that members of the Hungarian minority in
Baranja and the whole of Croatia could take part in 16 March
elections for local administration and self-government bodies and
the Parliament House of Counties, the Hungarian ambassador added.
