During the three-day session, the House is expected to work
through a 20-item agenda, which includes a bill on local government
and self-government units (constituencies).
"This bill has been tabled under emergency procedure because
it is essential for the upcoming election," Pavletic told
reporters.
Another election bill which may be debated at this sitting is
a draft bill proposing the abolition of the Zagreb County Act.
The House is also to discuss a bill regulating the adjustment
of pensions and salaries. This debate will probably be broadcast
live, Pavletic announced.
To enable members to take part in the election campaign, the
March session will be held in late February, Pavletic announced.
