ZAGREB, Jan 8 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's lower house will
begin a three-day session on January 15 and the upper house will
meet on the same day for a two-day session.
The government has sent six bills to parliament for urgent
consideration, mainly those concerning the ratification of
international agreements. Deputies are expected to discuss 18
bills, including a package of criminal bills, in the second
reading.
The government has also forwarded a bill on compensation for
confiscated property, while deputies inserted nine bills for
discussion, including draft amendments to the Telecommunications
Act, the City of Zagreb Act and the Croatian Citizenship Act, as
well as the Abortion Bill.
