ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament President Vlatko
Pavletic held a press conference on Monday to announce an agenda of
a three-day-long Croatian Parliament House of Representatives
session due to begin on February 26.
The agenda included eight bills, and five of them were
proposed by parliamentarians to the lower house. Parliamentarians'
legislative initiatives became more frequent, Pavletic said and
portrayed it as a benefit to a multi-party system.
At a proposal of the education, science and culture committee,
the lower house would discuss how to mark the 30th anniversary of a
Declaration on the Name and Position of the Croatian Standard
Language, Pavletic added.
