in views concerning the document issuance procedure, as well as other necessary preparations so that the elections could take place on 16 March, parallel to elections in the whole of Croatia, Kostovic said after the meeting.

Accord was found in views concerning the document
issuance procedure, as well as other necessary preparations so
that the elections could take place on 16 March, parallel to
elections in the whole of Croatia, Kostovic said after the

"We have worked out ways which include certain political
decisions, which guarantees to all those eligible for voting
that they can exercise the right to vote," Kostovic said,
adding that all offices and ministries of the Croatian
government had given additional guarantees that all
preparations for the elections would be completed on time.
Chief of the UNTAES political department Jacques Grinberg
expressed satisfaction about the success of Friday's meeting
with Kostovic and Croatian government representatives, among
which was Administration Minister Davorin Mlakar.
Mlakar said that special attention had been paid to
details concerning the necessary documents for each citizen
who had the right to vote in the forthcoming elections in the
Danubian area, which are to take place simultaneously with
elections in the whole of Croatia.
