The ministers discussed possibilities for Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina to join the Partnership for Peace programme, the
implementation of an agreement on sub-regional weapons control and
Croatia's assistance in the training of the Federal army.
The ministers paid particular attention to the cooperation
between the two countries in preventing border incidents such as a
recent shooting at Slavonski Brod from Bosnian Serb positions.
Present were Deputy Defence Minister Col. Gen. Kresimir Cosic,
the Croatian army chief-of-staff Col. Gen. Pavao Miljavac, Croatian
Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina Darinko Bago and head of the
Bosnian Foreign Minister's cabinet, Drago Maric.
Bosnian Assistant Foreign Minister Ibrahim Djikic and Bosnian
Ambassador to Croatia Kasim Trnka were unexpectedly absent.
