2.6 billion kuna (about US$ 473 million), president of the HBOR administration Anton Kovacev told Wednesday's news conference.

ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - Since its founding in 1992 and till
the end of 1996, the Croatian Reconstruction and Development
Bank (HBOR) has granted a total of 16,417 credits for various
purposes, amounting to a total of 2.6 billion kuna (about US$
473 million), president of the HBOR administration Anton

During those four years, 12,458 credits were granted for
reconstruction, including the reconstruction of houses and
stimulation of entrepreneurship, amounting to 1.94 billion
kuna (US$ 352 million).
One hundred and four credits had been granted for
programmes in tourism, amounting to 276 million kuna (about
US$ 50 million), while 3,854 credits of 378 million kuna (US$
68.7 million) had been granted for agriculture, financing fish
processors and employment of Croatian army members, Kovacev
said.
