The Croatian delegation answered member countries' questions
about the Croatian legislation in the fields of banking, insurance,
telecommunications and transport. Also discussed were copyright
legislation, trade mark protection, protection against counterfeits
etc.
Bilateral negotiations between the Croatian delegations and
countries that expressed special interest in such negotiations are
to be initiated in the upcoming period.
Preliminary talks with Slovene and New Zealand delegations
were already held on Friday. Depending on the results of these
talks, Croatia might accede to WTO as early as 1998.
