VUKOVAR, Oct 12 (Hina) - A high school in Vukovar was the scene of
anti-Croatian provocation last week.
Somebody took down Croatian coats-of-arms in three classrooms of
the First High School in Vukovar's suburb of Borovo Naselje. The
classrooms are used by Croatian students.
One coat-of-arms was found smashed, another thrown into the waste
basket and the Serb nationalist sign - four Cyrillic 's's in a grid -
was drawn on the third and hung back up on the wall.
A police report said the incident took place on Friday, October 9,
when classes were finished for the day.
A similar incident happened ten days ago at the Fifth Elementary
School in Borovo Naselje, only when the Croatian students were
still in their classrooms.
A senior Serb student verbally abused two-grader Croatians, and
spit on the Croatian coat-of-arms.
