SERBIAN FORCES CONTINUE ATTACKING KOSOVO VILLAGES

( Editorial: --> 9939 ) PRISTINA, Sept 12 (Hina) - Serbian forces on Saturday resumed attacking Rezale, Pluzine, Tice, Makermalja, Obrije and Acarevo, Albanian villages in Srbica Municipality, the Kosovo Information Centre (KIC) reported, quoting Democratic Alliances of Kosovo sources from Srbica. There are no reports on the consequences of today's attack, but the sources said three Albanians were killed and 16 were wounded in yesterday's attacks. The KIC emphasised that in the last two days the Kosovo Liberation Army strongly fought back the Serbian enemy. Several thousand Albanians have fled to Vucitrn Municipality following yesterday's attacks on several villages in the Drenica area, Albanian sources reported, pointing out there are almost 30,000 refugees in the Vucitrn area at the moment. Several thousand Albanians in Isnic, a village near Decane, are still surrounded by Serbian forces, the KIC said. The Democratic Alliance of Kosovo reported today that all residents of Isnic were ordered by the Serbs to leave the village in two or three hours, or they would be exiled by force.
