CONFLICTS AND INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION CONTINUE IN KOSOVO

( Editorial: --> 4872 ) PRISTINA, Aug 20 (Hina) - Albanian sources from Pristina reported Thursday that Serbian forces continue their attacks on several Albanian villages in Drenica and the municipalities of Djakovica and Decani. Head of the Human Rights committee in Mitrovica, Halit Berani, said strong Serbian forces shelled the villages of Gornje Prekaze and Lubavec. The Kosovo Information Centre in Pristina reported the shelling of villages in the Vucitrn municipality on Thursday. At the same time, international efforts for cease fire and beginning of negotiations for a peaceful solutions continue.
