AT LEAST 843 ALBANIANS KILLED IN KOSOVO SO FAR

( Editorial: --> 9154 ) PRISTINA, Sept 9 (Hina) - At least 843 Kosovo Albanians have been killed since mid-January in this Yugoslav province. The Kosovo Committee for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms registered 200 killed persons who have not been identified. Found killed and massacred were 88 children, 127 women and 181 elderly persons. According to the Committee, at least 1,100 people were arrested by Serbian troops, while more than 300 Albanians will be tried in October for 'hostile actions' and 'terrorism', as Serbian authorities have announced. There are almost 600 Albanians registered missing during six-month conflicts in Kosovo, and more than 400,000 Kosovo Albanian refugees registered with the Committee. (hina) lml 091144 MET sep 98
