ZAGREB, 8 Aug (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of Trade (HOK) and the
Chamber of Trade for Munich and Upper Bavaria have prolonged their
partnership project until 2001.
The investor into the project, signed in 1995, is the German
Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The implementation of the project has been entrusted to
the Foundation for Economic and Trades Education from Bonn.
The project is aimed at strengthening the national economies
through trades and creating an efficient traders' organisation
capable of meeting traders' needs.
These aims are to be realised through advancing HOK's
organisational model, securing a long-term effective care for
traders' interests, developing service offer which suits the needs
of craft services and improving traders' qualification structure.
This was agreed upon at a meeting of two chambers held in Croatia on
August 3-5.
The Foundation for Economic and Trades Education this year made a
revision of all past activities.
It was on the basis of their assessment that Germany's Ministry for
Economic Cooperation and Development decided to prolong the
project.
