CAVTAT/PREVLAKA, July 14 (Hina) - Croatia should not be impatient
but it should insist on a speedy resolution of the problem of the
Prevlaka peninsula because the area is an important tourism
resource for Croatia, Croatian Parliament President Vlatko
Pavletic said during his visit to Croatia's southernmost peninsula
on Tuesday.
"It would be a project which would take several years to devise, but
it would result in a different and more interesting tourist offer,"
Pavletic said.
Commenting on the latest claims in the Yugoslav media that Prevlaka
is no longer a territorial issue for Yugoslavia, Pavletic said that
Serbia and Montenegro had differing views about Prevlaka because of
their different interests.
Prevlaka has to be a safe area, Pavletic said, stressing also the
need for a secure Boka Kotorska Bay.
