MOSTAR, July 30 (Hina) - The Herzegovina-Neretva Canton police
which is investigating the bombing of four Bosniak (Moslem) houses
in the Croat-controlled Stolac municipality on Thursday issued a
report on the progress of the investigation.
Several personnel changes have been made and the crime prevention
assistant police commissioner has been dismissed from the case,
police said.
Three houses were demolished and six damaged along with three
vehicles when bombs which were set up in four of the houses went off
in the Pjesevac-Kula part of the Stolac municipality in the night
between July 28 and 29.
Because of frequent incidents in the Herzegovina-Neretva County,
County Interior Minister Valentin Coric ordered that the
investigation should be conducted resolutely and the perpetrators
of this and other crimes found.
