COMMISSION CALLS FOR ANNULMENT OF DECREE ON FLAT LEASING

President of the National Trust Establishment Committee Vesna Skare Ozbolt described the debate on the Regulation as "the consequence and result of misinformation and misunderstanding". Members of the Committee Vojislav Stanimirovic and Milorad Pupovac told the press their party, the Serb Independent Democratic Party, would consider withdrawing from the committee. When asked to comment on the announcement, Vesna Skare Ozbolt said she saw no reason for withdrawal from the committee, stressing that everybody was still faced with important goals, "which should be achieved jointly and efficiently". Spokesman of the OSCE mission in Croatia Mark Thompson told Hina that head of the mission Tim Guldimann welcomed the stop forward by president of the Committee when she said the Regulation would have "no legal effect" until 15 March, compared to yesterday's statement by the Deputy PM Ljerka Mintas-Hodak, who said the Regulation would have "no practical effect" until then.
