ZAGREB, April 21 (Hina) - Opposition deputies in the Croatian parliament on Wednesday criticised the government for proposing changes to the Law on the State Agency for Deposit Insurance and Bank Rehabilitation (DAB) only in order to
replace the agency's director.

At the end of the first day of its sixth sitting, the parliament also
discussed changes to the Law on the Financial Agency.
Earlier in the day, the parliament discussed, among other documents, a
proposal to approve an agreement changing the basic free trade
agreement between Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro, which was
supported by all parties except for the Croatian Party of Rights
(HSP).
