SUBOTICA, March 31 (Hina) - After Hungary, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, an exhibition on 11 centuries of Croat-Hungarian ties opened in northern Serbia's Subotica on Wednesday.

ties opened in northern Serbia's Subotica on Wednesday.#L#
"The exhibition proves that two peoples can coexist in harmony for a
long time and also sets an example to other peoples in the Balkans,"
said Subotica mayor Geza Kucsera, at whose invitation the exhibit was
staged.
It is comprised of documents and photographs depicting the coexistence
of Hungarians and Croats in the regions of Backa, Baranja, Podravina
and Medjimurje, which were collected by ethnologist Djuro Sarosac.
