BELGRADE, March 20 (Hina) - Serbia's government has proclaimed Sunday (21 March) a day of mourning because of the latest developments in Kosovo and "pogrom of Serbs" and "arson attacks on Serb sacred things and houses in
Kosovo".

Kosovo and "pogrom of Serbs" and "arson attacks on Serb sacred things

The government issued a statement on Saturday calling on the media and
others to adjust their programmes and planned events tomorrow so that
"tribute could be paid to innocent victims and casualties".
The Serbian parliament called on citizens to express in nonviolent
manners their protest "following the pogrom of Serbs in Kosovo and
Metohija".
The parliament issued a statement saying that clubs of all
parliamentary parties were unanimous in condemning the arson attacks
on mosques in Nis and Belgrade as well as all forms of threats to
facilities and buildings of other religious communities and public
institutions in Serbia.
