BELGRADE, March 24 (Hina) - The head of the Organisation for Security
and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon
Passy, said after a meeting with senior officials of Serbia and
Montenegro in Belgrade on Wednesday that the international community
would not tolerate violence in Kosovo.#L#
The international community is united in the stand that it will not
tolerate violence in the future. Those who thought that the escalation
of violence would accelerate the decision on Kosovo's final status
were wrong, Passy said after talks with Serbia-Montenegro Foreign
Minister Goran Svilanovic
The Bulgarian minister said that when it came to Kosovo the
international community's fundamental principle was to create
standards and only then to settle Kosovo's status.
During talks with the President of Serbia and Montenegro, Svetozar
Marovic, the OSCE chairman said the number of international troops in
Kosovo could not be reduced, but only increased.
