which the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly began in Vienna on Thursday.

The conference pooled some 300 parliamentarians, including the
Croatian Sabor's delegation led by Tonino Picula.
Addressing MPs from 55 OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation
in Europe) member-states and partner-countries, the OSCE Parliamentary
Assembly president, Bruce George, spoke of the importance of the work
of this international organisation in prevention of conflicts and
wars.
Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Solomon Passy whose country is holding the
one-year presidency over the OSCE, said the he saw the Bulgarian
chairmanship of this organisation as the continuation of the current
efforts as well as a possibility for drawing a new strategy in the
fight against terrorism, trafficking and trade in humans and against
all forms of intolerance.
