BANJA LUKA, Feb 16 (Hina) - A survey conducted by the Ljubljana-based International Institute for the Near East and Balkan Studies in Bosnia-Herzegovina between 2 and 13 February shows that most citizens support an early election in

The survey, which covered 4,230 persons of age from the Croat-Muslim
federation, the Serb entity and Brcko District, shows that 62.2
percent of respondents in the Serb entity support early elections,
while 21.2 percent are against. The results for the Croat-Muslim
federation are different: 37.7 percent of respondents support early
elections, while 41.3 percent are against. On the level of the entire
country, 53.4 percent of respondents support early elections, while
27.6 percent are against.
On the level of the entire country, 73.8 percent support the existing
model of state organisation, 16.1 percent support its change and
slightly more than 10 percent have no opinion on the matter.
Only 22.1 percent of respondents in the Serb entity are satisfied with
the entity authorities, 61.8 percent are dissatisfied, while 16.1
percent are indifferent. The Croat-Muslim entity authorities are
supported by 38.3 percent of respondents, while 38.7 percent are
dissatisfied with them. On the level of the entire country, the ratio
is different - 31.4 percent of respondents are satisfied with the
authorities, 52.2 percent are dissatisfied, and 16.4 have no opinion
on the matter.
