Skare Ozbolt said that no new reform programmes would be drafted but
efforts would be invested in the effective implementation of the
existing programme.
She informed Ewe of the organisation of judicial bodies in charge of
prosecuting war crimes and of activities which her ministry was taking
to render the judiciary more efficient and capable of taking over war
crimes cases from the Hague-based tribunal.
She reiterated that the fugitive general Ante Gotovina, wanted by the
ICTY, was not in Croatia and that a report on measures which Croatian
state bodies were taking would corroborate this fact.
