ZAGREB, Jan 28(Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Family and War Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, said on Wednesday she would appoint a task force next week to start preparing a
new law on the rights of war veterans and their families.

Kosor today met representatives of the Association of Disabled
Homeland War Veterans (HVIDRA), with whom she agreed that the new law
should be drawn up this year. The two sides also agreed to prepare a
list of regulations from the existing law which are detrimental to war
veterans' rights, which the association said must not be repeated in
the new law.
