A Ministry source told Hina on Friday that a decision suspending the
application of the American psychological test was expected to be
adopted next week.
Croatian war veterans suffering from PTSD are angered at the fact that
the test is applied to groups rather than individually. The test was
not fully approved by the Croatian Society of Psychology, which said
that it was good, but that the application method was not, and that
the test could not be the only indicator of whether someone was
suffering from PTSD or not.
The Ministry has also decided to remove a computer that was installed
in its entrance lobby last year by former Veterans' Affairs Minister
Ivica Pancic. The computer contained a list of war veterans who had
been allocated housing or a loan, which also angered war veterans.
