Mimica thanked Hungary for supporting Croatia in the European integration process.
Eorsi said Hungary wanted to see Croatia join the European union as soon as possible and added that the start of Croatia's EU entry talks was an excellent message to Southeast European countries.
He said Croatia was in an exceptional situation because this time the EU will separately conduct negotiations with Croatia and Turkey.
Eorsi believes this was Croatia's advantage because it will not have to wait for an entire convoy as was the case with Hungary.
The Hungarian delegation was also received by a state secretary in the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, Marija Pejcinovic Buric, who informed her guests of the European integration process in Croatia and preparations which Zagreb carried out so as to successfully complete negotiations with the EU.
